Chanda Bhattacharjee, a loving mother and a humble woman from a small town in Assam, has always been the strength of her family. With her warm smile and selfless heart, she made sure her children never slept hungry, even when life wasn’t kind to her.
But today, that same strong woman is fighting for her life.
Chanda has been diagnosed with cancer, a word that shook her world and shattered her family’s peace. What began as mild pain turned into unbearable suffering — and soon came the heartbreaking diagnosis no one was prepared for.
Doctors have advised urgent chemotherapy and further treatment, but the cost is beyond what her struggling family can bear. Her husband, a daily wage earner, is doing everything he can, but the mounting hospital bills have left them helpless.
Chanda’s little children look at her with innocent eyes, not fully understanding what’s happening — only praying that their mother gets better soon.
